Just A Kiss

I have been listening to JUST A KISS  by Lady Antebellum for days now. I just love everything about it. Don't you just love the lyrics too? Anyway, I got this maxi skirt from my favorite thrift shop, and it fits so well on me. I miss wearing maxi skirts, so I took one the other day for a spin. And did you notice the lace hat again? haha! I have worn it for the second time around, I just can't get enough of its beauty! :)

By the way, today is the 29th of February, I went to the mall today to unwind and relax for a bit. I hope you enjoyed the Leap Day too!

JUNE CHALLENGE DAY 10: BIKER VEST AND LACE-UP WEDGES

If I was a bit girly on my 9th June Challenge, well on my 10th day I feel like a rocker chic hence the use pf the biker vest and the black lace-up wedges. So without much ado here are the photos...

So how do you find the flipping of hair? haha! Whenever I look at these photos I feel like shooting for a shampoo commercial haha! This is the outfit I would wear if I want something refreshing, I am usually seen in a ladylike outfit so this one's kinda new right? I think I can be a good rock star, minus the grungy voice! haha! 

HAVE WONDERFUL WEEK EVERYONE! Mine's not that fine coz it's that time of the month again and I feel like dying over headache and dysmenorrhea but hopefully I'll be fine later! :)

JUNE CHALLENGE DAY 9: CROCHETED CARDIGAN

Finally! My 9th June Challenge! gawd I am so busy this month of June. Unexpected work loads came to my email that's why I never did imagine I'll be interrupted to shoot more for this challenge, but still I hope my dear readers you love all the outfits I posted. I hope in my birthday month I am not that busy hehe! But don't get me wrong I love my job! :)

Anyway here's what I came-up with my 9th back-to-school outfit!

DAY 9

Feeling a bit girly so I went for this combo! I just love my black dress but then I am kinda not feeling good about its shorter length so I wore a black skirt underneath it! Anyways, this is my newly-painted room, if you are regular reader, you will notice that before my room's wall was white, and now it's yellowish. I am about to shop for some new lights to make my room brighter, any suggestions?

Then I am also shopping for new floorings, can't decide if I'll shop for carpets or just plain mats. Gawd I wish I move faster than my clock so I can do thousand things in 8 hours :)

I guess I am having a new favorite color, and I think it's purple! haha! This is one of my favorite JUNE CHALLENGE outfits that I have posted! I love the mix of purple with black and white! And it's always a must for me to pair a mini skirt with a conservative top just to balance the sexiness of the short skirt. 

I guess I can wear this outfit even for a date with hubby! I remember the old times when hubby and I hit the mall after our classes for merienda and window shopping! I so miss my college days! :)

Feeling a bit school girl-ish hence the plaid blazer! I love this to bits cause it fits slightly loose which is I find pretty for I can move freely and comfortably.  And again, wore that skirt, but what can I say, I just can't resist it! haha!  

So much going on right now, I feel like I am still a student with the plenty of work stuffs I am currently busy with. I kinda feel like I am still going to school haha! But don;t get me wrong, I enjoy my job. I'd rather be cramming because of work loads than be sitting all day without doing anything.  Ako na ang workaholic! haha! 

PS: Wondering why my hair is curled? Well I enjoy braiding my hair these past few days and that's the effect when you pull-out the braid! haha! Kinda made me think to try perming my hair! haha!

JUNE CHALLENGE DAY 6: White button-down shirt and choco brown shorts

It has been raining the whole day yesterday and I must say I love the colder weather than the melting hot we've been experiencing in the past few days. But thinking aside the rain makes traffic terrible! Imagine I was stuck at the middle of the road for about 30 minutes yesterday! Good thing I was able to meet first my customer! I will blog about our meet-up soon!  :)

And just because the weather is so cold, I wore my white button-down long sleeves shirt.

This time I wore it with shorts instead of pairing it with my skirt. I felt like super formal if I wear this with skirt. Then I match this outfit with my red oxfords, tied a ribbon on my neck and voila, an outfit again perfect for school! I just love the red color of my shoes! :)

PS: I am craving for a hot goto  at tokwa't baboy haha! Mom please cook now! haha!

JUNE CHALLENGE DAY 5: Preppy dress and blazer

Hello guys! Pardon another treatment of outfit photos. Kind of experimenting til I get the perfect treatment! I am currently renovating my room so I could turn it into a photo studio. On the next pay day I am gonna shop for carpets and lighting for my room so there could be enough lighting and good ambiance.

I have decided to try outfit shots without my feet on the photos hehe! My room's floor isn't presentable yet plus poor lighting causes my feet to look blurred. I am avoiding too much use of flash that's why. If somebody could help me here how to best shoot indoors just feel free to comment! :)

Due to the very HOT HOT HOT weather! I chose to wear a short preppy dress to give me some windy feel! I put-over a blazer to cover my huge arms haha because the dress is actually sleeveless. But  you can choose not to wear the blazer, but for me when I used to dress-up for school, I always bring with me a blazer or a cardigan whenever I am wearing a sleeveless top or dress. 

Today's a bit colder since it's raining the entire morning. I love rain but it's kind of a hassle especially when you are commuting. I hate wet roads coz I can't walk properly when there's water on the ground. I am afraid I might wet my feet or get my shoes dirty, I am so OC noh? haha!

I will soon get back on making more fringe and fabric necklaces coz I got plenty of feedbacks asking me to make more! THANKS GUYS for supporting my handcrafted accessories! I will definitely make more! Next week I am gonna start making a bunch!

Hi guys! How was your weekend? Mine's a happy one since I got to meet my college barkada last Saturday  then I just spent the entire Sunday sleeping and playing with Marise then watched Avatar on Star Movies. 

Anyway, here's my day 4 under my JUNE CHALLENGE. I suddenly felt like I wanted to wear something so girly yet school-y hence a tiered skirt plus blazer combo. I always feel so girly whenever I wear short (a couple of inches above my knees) skirt most especially when it is tiered. I found this outfit so very much appropriate for school since it looks so preppy plus comfy too. The blazer is not that thick so you won't really feel so hot when you wear it. Plus the skirt is not that short and very much appropriate for universities with strict dress codes. :)

See the denim sack bag? A friend of mine custom-made it and we are currently making a project on it. It's perfect for school since you can put a lot of things. If you want to have one you could comment under and we could make one for you.

So here ya go my 4th day of back-to-school outfit! How about you would you prefer wearing skirts to school?

JUNE CHALLENGE DAY 3: Striped polo and turban

Over-sized polos such as this one is a  closet staple for me. It's my go-to outfit whenever I want to dress-up comfy without suffering style. You could actually pair it with leggings just like I did, or a skinny pants, or even shorts and skirts will also do. This outfit is very simple and practical, really suited to wear in the university. You can easily move without feeling too hot since the fabric is so light. 

I wore a turban to add spice on my look and I must say I love this entire ensemble! I wish I am still in college ...oh college days! Speaking of those times, I will be reuniting with my college barkada tomorrow! It's my friend's daughter's birthday so I guess tomorrow will be a lot of catching-up! My gawd it has been 2 years since we last saw each other! :)
