Nothing Beats Good Food

The weather's been this cold for the past 3 days and I am pretty sure like me, you're also craving for a lot of good food to eat!!! As most of us claim, when the weather is cold, it's when we like to eat the most! So here I am sharing with you what I am currently craving for! Pancake House is one of my favorite places to eat. Aside from their to-die for delicious pancakes, I also love their savory dishes. The photos above are what Marise, hubby and I had when we went to Manila Ocean Park a week ago. I swear if I can go out of the house right now, I'd spent 2 hours eating pancakes, sandwiches, pastas, and soups from Pancake House haha!!! But since it's not good to go out, I'd rather look on these photos na lang haha!!! 

What we ordered: molo soup, chocolate milkshake, spicy chicken pilaf in brown rice, baked mac and cheese, and tapsilog

BTS: The Gossip Girls Collection

Weeks ago when we had a studio shoot for Simone's Closet. This is the kind of activity I love doing for my shop well not only the crafting the part. Precisely because, I get to enjoy the 3 hours of styling and dressing-up my models, bonding with them and just play dress-up! If you are a long-time follower of Simone's Closet, every collection is special for us that we make sure we have a concept both for our look book and collection albums. That's how we do it! We want every shoot, indoor or outdoors, to be memorable! 

This recent one was one of it. We were 4 on the team that day, me,2 models, and my assistant- but we managed to shoot the entire collection! I was the photographer/stylist/model haha, while my assistant worked all-around in shooting for behind-the-scenes shots, hair and make-up of the models, plus did some little portions of photography too! Hubby was not able to come for he was sick that day but I am thankful that the shoot was a huge success! I don't have any formal photography skills, but I super duper love the shots I have that day!!! 

I will be releasing the look book album this Friday and the entire collection this Sunday July 14, 2013!!! Do not forget to keep an eye on our page for more announcements and details about the The Gossip Girls Collection! :)

Some New Things

Okay so I am the most un-shopaholic girl ever in this world! ahaha! I can't do impulse shopping, I can't shop without even thinking 10times if I should buy the item or not. haha! I shop only unless needed haha! This may probably because I was really born to be kuripot haha! Kidding aside, ever since I was a kid I know how to handle money kahit na P2.00 lang yan, I want the most out of my money whether it'd be a big sum of money or just a penny. Businessman thinking talaga haha! The point is, I seldom shop haha!The last time I shopped was weeks ago and the recent things I got were a pair of summer shorts, and a pair of neon sandals! Those sunnies, (I don't buy sunnies haha I usually borrow from hubby since he has a A LOT!) were from my girl friend, Christine Liwag of CRAVE MORE! 

Apparently I am ready to hit the beach! haha! I can't wait to dip in the sea and pick-up shells! haha! By the way, have you gone to the beach already? :) I envy those in my facebook newsfeed, posting their beach trip photos, and their mala-dyosang bikini body haha! I can't wait to hit the beach!!! :)

BTS: Solstice Bazaar Shoot

here are some photos behind the camera on our shoot last Sunday morning for the SOLSTICE BAZAAR LOOKBOOK ALBUM. We woke up so early to get to MOA seaside early and capture the soft sunlight and of course avoid the crowd. Luckily, everyhting we planned just went smoothly though I just miss having my models complete. :)

It was just a fun girly girly shoot in a random coffee shop. We just enjoyed the day while sipping cold drinks and taking turns posing for the camera! :)

The Nail Station

Weeks ago when I invited mom and Marise to a nearby spa boutique. The Nail Station opened last March 2011 (If I remembered it right) at Retiro Quezon City. It's just near Marise's school so I decided to try it. 

They are even offering kiddie spa services so in case you plan to go with your kiddo, he/she can relax too! Mom and I took the SPA+ PEDICURE package which only cost P250 for an hour of leg and foot massage, foot spa, and pedicure plus this goes with unlimited pandan juice that's so good!!! Marise had the kiddie spa + pedicure which includes, a foot spa, mild leg and foot massage, and pedicure (less the cleaning procedure, just the nail color).

I am not so sure if they have facebook page, but if you have some time to surf the net, try searching for THE NAIL STATION. I heard they're also offering a whole body massage, and body scrub, nail art, manicure, and hand spa. 

I am gonna come back and try the massage and body scrub! :)
