Vertical Horizon

They say vertical lines make the wearer look slimmer and elongated, whereas wearing the horizontal stripes, make the wearer even more wider. Whatever those fashion tips or rules are, I do not care at all! I still love stripes anyway! I think dressing-up shouldn't be bounded by rules, it should be fun and dictated by the wearer's emotions. Wear something you like and never get afraid of it! :)

How was your last few days of 2013? Mine's pretty good but I am already puzzled with what to do on 2014. I have lots of plans in mind and I am hoping I could do them all. You think so I can? :) A new year is coming and I am very eager and excited to embrace it fully and I can wait to lay my hands onto the many plans I am kickin off for Simone's Closet, for my blog, for myself, and of course for my family! :)

Stars Are Blind

taken from iPhone

Hey there everyone!:) I was not able to post anything yesterday, well I came home late from my dressmaker. I got new clothes coming for Simone's Closet just in time for summer and for our SOLSTICE BAZAAR.

These photos are completely new to me. As much as possible, I don't want to blog about my "off-duty" looks for they're just my casual, simple looks, and nothing fancy. BUT since hubby took these and he even edited these photos, which I think look very great, why not have you a glimpse of how I look like during my "off-duty" look moments! nuks!

Well, I wear lighter make-up less my heavy eye pencil and eye shadow, so pardon the singkit eyes haha! And also, I do get to tie my hair in a pony whenever I am on my casual looks. I don't look good with my hair tied-up but I hope I look like a human being here haha!

so how do you find my off-duty look? :)

On The Count Of Three

There's just a lot of prints and patterns goin' on (my top, my printed shorts, my  belt and my bag) this outfit and this one's an output of my easy dressing-up...on a count of ONE, TWO , THREE I am done and ready to go! When you have a kid and keeps on nagging you and pressuring you to get dressed in a wink just so to go asap, well you have to be the quickest, you know what I mean? haha! This was what I wore a week ago when we went to Star City with Marise. And just because she's just so excited to go out and play, I had no time to think for an outfit, but to wear anything I could get inside my closet. I was totally not expecting that leopard and aztec prints would go well together. Such a surprising combination but I love it!

Expect The Unexpected

shot by mom

This is an outfit I didn't expect to look this good (well at least for me) haha! I just wanted something comfy yet fashionable for another trip to the mall hence, I layered my leopard maxi with my fringe top. Then wore my blue cobweb necklace for that pop of color! Everything looks so good to me! And I can move comfortable in this outfit!

See that necklace? It's my newest design of cobweb necklace! This time it has little spikes on it to add texture and interest. You can wear it long or shorter, just the way I wore it.

I was not able to blog yesterday and just did a scheduled post last Saturday for the reason that, the whole family is in gala mode haha! Saturday we were in Trinoma and yesterday we just visited Robinson's Magnolia, and oh my, I love the place! I have found a new place to take my outfit photos! Will blog more of my weekend mall trips on the days to come!

How are you doing so far? Hope your Monday starts great! :)

Pajama Pants

With the cold weather we have right now, my chosen pieces for dressing-up is either a sweater top, sweater dress, long sleeves or a pair of pajama pants ( a term I use for loose comfy pants). I got this animal-print pants sometime ago before my birthday. And last Sunday was the perfect timing to wear it! The pants have two ankle hooks making me think this is actually a granny pair of pants rather than pajama pants, but nonetheless, I still love it! I feel so fierce in it!:)
Anyway, I was able to watch NO OTHER WOMAN just last night haha! Thank you Cinema One for a no-commercial airing of the movie! I was just really impressed with the acting skills of Christine and Anne, they are both great and really portrayed their roles so well!
Lastly, I was supposed to watch a Cinemalaya fiilm, but any cinemas I went to are all sold-out! Imagine that! haha! I am aiming to watch pa naman Ang Mumunting Lihim and Intoy Syokoy.  Sigh.

Hope you are having a nice rainy Monday!:)

On The Streets

Hey girls! I was out and about yesterday at UP Village with ze hubby. It was my first time there, and oh my I love how it's so different. That long street reminds me of a happy neighborhood filled with different artistic shops, and yummy restaurants. I just hope one day I will be able to try all of them! :) Anyway, this is what I wore yesterday. I want something stylish yet comfy enough for walking. This one's very simple so I just threw on my hat for added accessory on my look! How do you find it? hehehe.

Bohemian Sandals

I am not much a big fan of heels you know that haha! I feel more confident in sandals and in flats because they complete my comfy chic/bohemian edgy style. :) I got two more bohemian sandals from Solemate by SM! I just love the embellishments on both pairs and they are way comfy and stylish too! Now wait for my outfit post wearing one of these pairs. :)

Go get a pair for yourself too!:)
