INSPIRED BY SONIA LAZO

Another day to dress-up for my blog!haha! I kinda miss the times that I always got late for work because of too much prepping-up. And now that I am home, I have more time to dress-up and discover my style more. I could say I dress like a country girl. I am simple yet stylish.

And part of discovering my style is trying other outfits too, like this one is inspired by Sonia Lazo in her Warm Leopard entry in Chictopia. I am loving how basic the pieces she used to put-up this outfit. And I love how comfy and stylish this one is.

I am loving the fact that I can actually try different outfits for this helps me in discovering more on my fashion style. How about you what's your style?

INSPIRED BY NIGHT LIGHTS

If you would ask me what does my mood board look like? Well I just got to say look on Night Lights. I am so obsessed looking at her outfit shots, when I meant obsessed I mean,  I can't help but read her blog from the beginning up to the latest post, all over and over again!
....and so while wandering on her blog, I saw an outfit of her that I think I can give a spin, of course with my own touch. I love her EQUESTRIAN II outfit photos. I love how everything is blending well with each other. Plus the feel is very vintage-y but with a modern twist!I just love it that  I have to try it myself!

My version of her equestrian look is different from her, as I have used a black high-waist shorts and black heels to complete the look.

Oh I am getting used to this obsession! I think I gotta have more Night Light-inspired outfits! Mind you ladies, this whole look is very comfy, I could probably wear this to a dinner with my hubby!:)

HAVE A HAPPY WEEKENDS LADIES!

INSPIRED BY: Delightfully tacky

You've seen already this dress so many times here in this blog, but this time I wore it my new striped tights. I was inspired by Delightfully Tacky's outfit as seen above. Read her post about it here. The only thing that sets her apart from me is her big fab hair! As in I want that hair now! haha!I just so love the volume and the thickness. And I think that her hair fits any outfits she wear. Well I love my hair too but I think it lacks volume, it's so flat and straight, that it pushes me somewhat to try perming my hair to make it curly just like hers. But maybe I should test that hairstyle first if it looks good on me before the big change happens to my life. Haha!

As you can see I wore my green plaid dress + tights + my flat shoes to somehow imitate Delightfully Tacky's look (oh well minus the real trees behind her haha! anyway I have a tree also behind me...only that it's a Christmas tree). I cinched my waist with a slim belt to add shape. Gosh I am getting fat I promise to lose wait NOW!Swear!Swear!:)

HAVE A NICE DAY AHEAD LADIES!:)

PS:Please do help me win in Pens and Lens contest by voting me in FACEBOOK like first the page then my entry photo!:) You can also vote via Pens and Lens' BLOG! Vote for Ariane and that's it! You already have a Christmas gift for me!:)Thank you very much!:)

I have the exact same polka dot dress she was wearing only that, hers is old rose pink and mine's navy blue.

I am also excited to reveal one-by-one, new segments in my blog! Yippee! nd my online store is now in preparation for its 19th and 20th collection full of chic items tat you'll surely love to bits! Check out also Simone's Closet new layout! So pretty and chic!Time for some renovations!:)

INSPIRED BY THE CLOTHES HORSE 3

'free

I woke up again feeling like wearing something inspired by The Clothes Horse. And so I have chosen to wear layers just like in her post. Only thatmy hair is no in braid, and I am wearing vest rather than blazer. It's too hot here in my country for me to wear again blazer, so I thought of replacing it with a chic vest! My layered dress in the photos is NOT really a dress, the layered piece is only a top, I just wore my LBD underneath to make it look longer and look like a dress, nice right?

Anyway, I 'll leave you with my experimental gif image. Have a nice day!:)

INSPIRED BY THE CLOTHES HORSE AGAIN

Well, Rebecca will always be a fashion icon for me. That's why another post is dedicated to her. I was again inspired to wear the outfit she got on one of her post. Actually she used this photo of her wearing this outfit for her header. I woke up thinking what to wear, and this one popped out of my mind. the photos are kinda dark due to rain showers that's why I kinda look shiny. Rebecca's photos are more pleasing to the eyes than mine's hehe. I hate the bad weather, I don't get to take outdoor photos. I'll try my luck later. :)

INSPIRED BY THE CLOTHES HORSE

I am really a BIG fan of The Clothes Horse, which I know you also is a fan too! I love how Rebecca (the blog owner) manages to style the same piece of clothes in many different ways. I see something similar to her... that is wearing tights and leggings. I was browsing her page when I saw one of her post that features her all black outfit! I love black just like her, and I was inspired to recreate the outfit she got on that post. The difference is, she wears more sky high heels or wedges, while me, I am fond of wearing flat shoes and sandals. I am into thrifting dresses, and flat shoes. I am going to the mall today, thinking if I would reward myself with tights or shoes? What do yo think? I am kinda saving up, for my birthday is coming near. It's less than a month I guess. :)
