PHOTO DIARY: Girls' Day Out

If there's one thing that mom, I and Marise have in common, that is our love for fashion. Mom loves to dress-up when she was in her early years and I was able to snag vintage pieces from her closet which only shows how fasyon she is. Marise loves dressing-up too since she always see me in stylish outfits.  She even loves clothes from Gingersnaps. :) But aside from our love for fashion, we also love to stroll inside Trinoma haha! Last Saturday we were just there, strolling around and did some little shopping for our kitchen and for Marise's stuffs. And of course we ended the night over a delicious dinner. I just love this kind of girl bonding, this is my simple way of veering away from stress :)

The Quick Curly Mom

Seriously speaking, dressing-up when you are a mom with a kid that's so hyper when she knows she's going to the mall, is very challenging. The feeling when you need to put make-up on and get dressed in just 15 minutes is mind-boggling, BUT exciting! 

And that exact same feeling happened the other day when we went to the mall, hence this red and stripes outfit. hehe! But I love it when I tend to wear the clothes I first sighted, work it out and voila! That leaves me also to the idea of investing more on tailored shorts, tops, flat shoes, dresses, pants and blazers--- these are rather easier to mix and match and not to mention, will not be out of fashion even when the trends start to fade. 

Oh and by the way, mom took these pictures! I think I am prepping-up a soon-to-be photographer haha! :)

RED AND FLORAL

The moment I saw this skirt on F-Stop, I knew it is for me. And it has been months now since I bought it, and the feeling of excitement whenever I see it hanging inside my closet is still the same. I so love this skirt to death, so comfy and very me! You know how much I love maxi skirts right? haha!

Anyway, I wore this outfit to a lunch interview with students from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. It's for their project, who am I to refuse right? Plus I am a sucker  for meeting new friends, and knowing that they read my blog too, it made me more excited to see them (will blog about it on a separate post).

On the other hand, we bought Marise's first bike! Yey I am so happy for my baby! She is growing up so fast and so smart! I love you baby! You are my baby forever!

MOM'S MY PHOTOGRAPHER

Last Tuesday I wore this casual outfit to a short meeting with a fellow blogger for a our little collaboration this weekend! I hope it won't rain that day. Anyway, hubby wasn't present last Tuesday because he was sick, and my brother was roaming somewhere that's why I had my mom to take these photos. I never imagined she will learn fast in using a big camera. haha! I guess I have found a substitute photographer whenever hubby is not around. Mom knows already how to press the buttons, and how to hold a dslr camera. Next thing I will teach her, aperture and shutter speed and how to do different angles in photos. Yay!

A CUP OF COFFEE

I was so happy to receive an email from someone I do not know, what I knew then is she is my blog reader and she likes the stuff from my shop. I was so honored to finally meet Arnie the lady who sent me an email saying she really adores my shop. I rarely get this kind of emails, and I was so touched to know that she even wanted to meet me. The conversation continued through exchange of emails and then we found ourselves planning about a collaboration. :) 

Finally the day came I met her. here are some photos...

She's so pretty and I felt like we are sisters! As in happy moments and no dull moments talaga! We feel like we knew each other so long :)

after chatting, laughing, and sipping our cups of cold coffee, we took some photos together. Since no one will be there to take our photo, we relied on the self-timer instead haha! :)

I really enjoyed  the day and I am really hoping for the next. I seldom encounter people whom I can relate to and who is so kind and jolly as her. At first I was so shy to speak-up but then as the conversation went naging noisy na rin ako haha! I knew how down-to-earth she is,  how sunny her personality is, walang arte sa katawan, knowing that she is the current Ms. Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, simply put I love her. :)

MALL RATS

So we tried to visit SM North last Friday on its 70% off three-day sale, hoping we could shop inside! We left at 9:30am so the moment the mall opens we are there already, and to avoid being trapped in the crowd of people but unfortunately, the moment we got there, the mall is already open and the entrance door is so crowded so we just decided to go to Trinoma.

Here's what I wore...

was wearing a cape but I  took it off since it was so hot that day.

Then here's Marise doing her outfit poses! She insisted to take photos the moment we arrived at the mall. She's really a fashion blogger in the making and I guess she could begin this early haha! :)
