Abstract

Lately I have been dressed in either a maxi dress or a kimono cover-up. haha! Those two are my current fashion addictions :) I feel boho and sexy at the same time whenever I am in either of those pieces. Plus I get to move whatever way I like without worrying of being uncomfy. :)

Going Green

Went out the other day with my family to unwind and have a little time to relax. They went with me to UP for my afternoon OOTD shoot. they support me all the way in my blogging life hehe. Right after, I ask my papa if I can drive his car, good thing he said yes but of course I am quite nervous about it, since he's so strict and I knew he'll slap me if in case I scratch his car hahaah! but good thing, I am a good driver haha! so nothing happened! naks! :)

On to my outfit, I chose to wear Simone's Closet's newest cape, the Sakura Japanese-inspired piece. It's my favorite among the pieces from the collection. I swear it is so classic, and very flattering. I love how it falls right on my thighs and covers my body well but still looking sexy. I have yet to style it in so many ways! Styling Your Lace Kimono

 Recently, we have launched the NAVAJO COLLECTION, featuring the lace capes, maxi skirts, and our very own handmade accessories. And I am so happy to see a lot of ladies are getting excited over them! To those who wants to know how you can style a kimono/cape, I will be showing to you my top 3 styling tips! If you let your imagination wander, you could think of many more ways to wear it! :)

TIP #1 : MAXIMUM AND MINIMUM

Wear with a short dress

If you want to emphasize the length of the cape, and your legs too, go for a short dress. It balances the look by having both short and long hems. :)

 TIP # 2: MAX IT OUT

If you want to get noticed with your outfit, it is either you go all out, or you go as simple as you can be, and never in between. Go all out long by pairing your cape with a maxi dress! You'll feel like a true blue boho! 

TIP #3: TOP AND BOTTOM

If you don't have a dress to pair your kimono with, make use of your tops and bottoms, they are as good as your trusty 'ol dress. Pick a top and skirt, or a top and denim shorts.
