Turning Japanese

This modern kimono dress I got from a random boutique, is actually not my type. But you know what, there are instances when I shop, and when I eye for a certain clothing, I just have that gut feeling that somehow, I could work it out no matter how it looks like I can't. And so this is the story of this dress. I just don't like it at first but when I tried it on, I fell in love with it right away. :) I wore this to a day of errands when I dropped by the University Mall weeks ago to bring some stocks on our shop. Just in case you have the time, I hope you could drop by our shop inside Bedazzle Accessories on the 3rd floor of the University Mall. :)

How are you guys doing? If well, if you'll ask me, I am still drowning with tons of work . If you'd want to know more about it please follow me on instagram: @simonesfashioncloset there you'll see my day-to-day activities!

Hope you're having a a fun Friday!

The Black Chaleco

Ever since I was a kid, I am deeply in love with chalecos. Even up to now I still am. I have 6 chalecos in my closet, and I am actually in search for one more.  I want my next vest to be denim and studded. The vest I am wearing here is actually my first ever! I got this from my fave ukay shop. What I love about vests, is that, they are  like  blazers only that they are sleeveless, they both do wonders on a rather simple outfit. Wore my black chaleco last week when I went girl bonding again with mom and Marise.

How about you, do you love to wear a chaleco too? :)

Parisian Chic

photos by Nix Rueda

I don't know but whenever I hear the fashion term " Parisian Chic" all I could think of are breton stripes and a pair of sweet flats. Accidentally I dress the part last Chinese New Year. ahahaha! I found this midi dress in my favorite thrift shop, and the moment I wore it, I feel like I am in heaven! :) I wore this on a very busy Chinese New Year last Monday. I had some meet-ups here and there, family dinner and movie night, which I will blog about tomorrow, and the rest of the people I met on that day.

I hope you are having a good day today! It's Friday but I am stuck at home haha! :)
