I ask myself, " Where do I go from here?" At the current state of my life, I am torn between the idea of giving up my work at an ad agency, and working instead at home as a copywriter and take serious business venture. Both sides have their own perks and their own jerks. That's why I am kinda having difficulty on deciding as to what to do. I have to decide the quickest way I can. As I need to give-up one as the new year starts. They say no man get all that he wants. And yes it's true that I cannot get the best of both worlds. If I do have them both on my hands, I know in the process I should give-up one and live on only one.  Yes multi-tasking and a matter of time budgeting are the key, but then again I have proven that both does not apply to all. Yes you can do two things together, but are sure you're giving equal focus on both? Time management on the other hand, is one tough cookie. It's really difficult to manage your time if your to-do list is as long as Nile River, yet your time is as small as a plankton. It's as if you're putting a a size 8 feet to a size 6 shoe, very impossible! But then again, I tried as much as I can to to do both, to deliver to both, to give time to both, but then again, there will and will always be left out.

Upon weighing these two, I  still cannot decipher as to which is right or which is wrong. But I need to be brave to overcome all of these. I just hope that no matter what I choose, I will be happy with it, and will be successful on it no matter what.

It's time to cheer up though my heart is crashed. Tomorrow is another day, it will give another hope.

  1. Hmm I have a friend going through the same thing; she's trying to choose between her stable career and her flourishing businesses. It's a tough decision to make, literally life-changing. And as vague as this sounds, I think you really just have to follow your heart! Where will you be most happy? (:

  2. I think you should do what makes you happy :) I think you'd be successful at it. "Pick your passion as your profession and you wouldn't have to work a day in your life!" ;) Good luck, Denise!

  3. Aaaaw denise. I hope you figure things out my dear. A lot of people out there are going through the same thing. Don't be scared of doing a mistake because you can always correct it. The biggest room in the world is the room for improvement so whatever your decision is, it's not the end of the world my dear. I hope for God's best for you!

  4. i've been there girl. I had a corporate job before that made me earn above average. But then I decided to study again and take up styling so I quit my job and worked at home. Of course, the perks are less. No benefits, no medical whatevers. The pay is less. But it's all worth it and I've never been happier. Pray for guidance. Goodluck!-D
