In My Shoes

I have always been the type to listen to different people's stories. I love helping out the and as much as I can, putting my self in their shoes, to gauge, at least, how it is to be in their situation. People tend to judge others basing on what their eyes can only see. I have been there once and I know the feeling and how degrading it is to hear such false judgments.

EVERY PERSON HAS A STORY. And each of us have our own struggles and battles going on. So it is therefore rightful to pay respect to every person we meet. In the lowest of times of a person, the best thing we can offer is to listen, to understand and to respect- because we don't know exactly,  how it is to be in their shoes, or how hard the battles they are in.

Olive Green

How was your week going guys? :) mine's pretty good and pretty busy just like the old times. Thank God for a wonderful bonding week I experienced along with my friends on the recently concluded SUPERSTYLE MANILA BAZAAR. The bazaar didn't do well, but it was the happiness I got when I bonded for 3 days with my friends.

Moving on, I am back to real world again.I just somehow wish I am stuck over the weekends for I am more than free to do anything i want. Oh well! I have a long list of to-dos and one of which, is, I am polishing the new collection coming this weekend at Simone's Closet! I am so excited to reveal our look book album and our full collection!

Discovering Your Style

Summer is my favorite season of the year. As a boho girl like me, it energizes me to see a sun shiny day, greener pastures, and the golden sunset. I have long been searching for my style since this blog started. I hardly noticed my boho side because it was always my preppy side that took place. If you have been reading this blog since day 1, I always dress preppy complete with my blazer, trousers, and pointed flats. I somehow discovered my boho side when I began crafting accessories. It took a while before I finally knew my true style. Change come and go and only through constant change that I was able to find out what my style really is. I can say that I am much more proud to dress-up after I realized what my style really is. I can dress-up in 5 minutes, no sweat! :)

Blogging has somehow taught me to discover more about myself, rather than blending myself to the trend. This blog has somehow paved the way for me to realize that style is always within myself, yourself, waiting to be discovered. You just have to be yourself, proudly, to be able to do that! :)

By the way I am wearing my new summer dress design for Simone's Closet! I am not a fan of tube tops or dresses, but this one is an exception! Swear it flatters my body so well and it stays in place no matter how I move. I actually could live in this dress for so long, super comfy swear!

Botanical Garden

One thing I love about maxi dresses is that, you will never look under-dressed in it. Just pick a style that is versatile enough to mix and match. I always for a maxi dress with classic cuts: A-line hem, not too revealing neckline, sleeveless but not spaghetti, with sleeves but not long, hem is long but not too much that I cannot walk anymore, and lastly, I want the fabric soft and follows my shape and curves.

Do you like maxi dresses too? :)
