2011 Year-End Post

I have been blogging since 2010, and I am thankful for the little blessings I got for the almost two years I am sharing my stories to you in my little blog. I may not be the ideal fashion blogger, I may not be active in any blogger events, I may not be dressing boldly and fiercely like the other bloggers do, I am still thankful that you still support and appreciate the little things I do. Sometimes I feel I am not worthy to be called a fashion blogger, but with the comments I always read from you fires me up to continue and just blog and be myself all the time.  I am so thankful to you all my blog followers and readers, thank you for loving me for who I am.This 2011 has been a great year for me.

JANUARY FEBRUARY: I quit my job and went freelance, and that is the most amazing feeling ever! It lead me to give more time for Marise, for my blog, and for my business. I was hired as copywriter for a big international company, and wow that's a big achievement! :)

MARCH-APRIL: I did a lot of outdoor shoots with my dear hubby. I really went out of my shell and gave more time for doing outfit shots.

MAY: I am so thankful for having the chance to witness the first leg of BLOGGERS UNITED.

JUNE- JULY: I discovered my talent for making handmade accessories! And it is just beyond amazing!

AUGUST: I met Aubrey Mendoza and my kumareng Andie Bordallo. Thank God that I went to the Glam Camp bazaar! I also discovered Ava's yummy baked goodies! :)

SEPTEMBER: I had my hair permed haha! This is an achievement for me because it is a complete transformation for my hair. I always have straight hair since I was born. I am glad I took the risk. I met Arnie too! I even had a collaboration with Zirjaye for my shop's collection lookbook!

OCTOBER: I witnessed the Philippine Fashion Week with my blog friends, Aubrey, Yshy, Kaye Awatin, and Arnie. This is also the month when I was featured at 700 Club Asia! The experience is surreal, and this opportunity has opened me to a lot more opportunities!

NOVEMBER: After my TV feature, I was asked to do a fashion show at PICC and again, this has lead me to more shop customers and more friends! Of course I bonded with Tatie! I love you girl! I miss you! :) This is also the month wherein I tried joining a bazaar again. The Arts and Crafts fair in 10A Alabama is a worthwhile experience.

DECEMBER: Is a lot of fun, I experience a lot of family bondings and photoshoot. I even bought a new lens for my camera! I  met new girls Kamille, Patricia, and Nikki, I'll see soon on our January shoot!
Lastly, I rode the Ferris Wheel in MOA with my family! I am so proud I conquered my fear! :)

2011 has been so good to me, I hope 2012 will be the best year ever! It's the year of the Dragon (my year!) I hope I will be lucky! :) I have more plans for Simone's Closet this 2012, plus my career is going strong, I am going on a new business venture and I am praying it will be a successful one! And of course, one of the things I am looking forward this 2012, is my hubby and I's 5th year anniversary! :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU GIRLS! Stay safe and enjoy this day with your loved ones! See you on my very first post this 2012! :)
